Reading with Nursery

On Tuesday 25th May Year 5 went down to Nursery to help them with their skeletons (not real ones!) we helped them for their skeleton they are going to do for the dance festival.They must do painting alot because they can paint really well look at the picture.We had a lot of fun.

Dance practice

Year5 has been learning a dance called America

from the film west side story.

We have been working extremely hard and

we are improving at the same time.

Their dance teacher is called Darren he is

helping us make this wonderful and I love

DANCING!!!!!!

We have been doing a lot of rehearsing and

we are almost ready for the big night.

We have had lots of fun and we are

AMAZING!!!!!

Year5 are going to do a dance called
America from the film West Side story.
It is very hard to learn and we have
been working extremely hard . We have
almost finished rehearsals and have
sorted our outfits. We are looking forward
to performing at the big show.
Year 5 are looking forward to the exciting,
nerveracking night.

Year 5 go to Pizza Express

Year 5 went to Pizza Express on the 12th of May 2010. The year 5 pupils had great fun designing these pizzas and loved tasting them! The best thing about these brilliant pieces of food were we got a whole pizza for free! I know we all enjoyed how the staff were so welcoming! We all loved the pizzas and how they were still hot when we ate them! I hope you will be able to visit the amazing restaurant as well!

On 12 May year 5 went to Pizza Express.We came in to the wonderful restaurant and got given an apron and a hat with a number on.Our class got given some dough on a plate.One of the chefs gave us tomato sauce to put on the dough.All of our class put some tomato sauce on.Unfortunately we did not get to use spoons!!!Finally we could put our toppings on plus cheese.Yum yum!!! For toppings we had marvelous mushrooms,scummy pepperoni,great olives,lovely cheese and hot chill sauce.Then the chef put our pizzas in the oven.But we put our numbers on the case it was in so we didn't get confused which is which.By the way we put the numbers which we had on our hat.BY ALEX IN YEAR 5

Eco Warriors

At the co-operative 5 people from year 5 did a survey to see if people were Eco friendly. We asked them questions like "Do you turn the tap off, while brushing your teeth?" Then when they finished the survey we gave them an Eco friendly badge to remind them to be Eco friendly.


A photographer came in to take pictures of us in our Eco warrior outfits. Our outfits were a jumper saying "co-operative"on it, a warrior bandanna and face paint!

We were able to interview over 10 people and give over 10-15 badges. We enjoyed our trip very much and hope to save our planet. Most of us were very embarrassed because of our face paint. Lots of people were looking at us! We could of done over 25 people but lots were busy or in a rush. At the end we grabbed a taxi and went back to school.

Eco Warriors

On a Thursday in March, 5 Eco Warriors from Yr 5 went to Co-Operative on Askew Road.We asked adults if we could do a quick survey about Eco friendly stuff that you do in your home.When we were finished interviewing them we gave them a badge to help them to help the world and turn off lights when not being used for e.g.We had pictures taken by a photographer. It was really fun. We got to wear bandannas,a jumper saying Co-Operative and we also got to put paint on our faces. It was fun but embarassing.

Our Trip to Pizza Express

Last Wednesday, we went to Pizza Express in Fulham Road. We met the chef who taught us how to make our own pizzas. Yummy!
