Hi Mummy Daddy and Ollie Yes Mum i got you a present but its a surprise (don't tell dad cause i haven't bought him one yet) Ollie I'm missing you so so soooooooooooo much cant wait to see you on Friday. Our trip to the Zoo

On Monday 12th July,my class (year 5)went to the zoo.It was great to go to see the animals there.We saw lions,tigers,snakes,fish,wallabies,vultures and lots of other exciting,scary and interesting animals.We went to see the vultures first and then saw the little monkeys.There were so much animals,I can't even remember how many animals there were.I wish I could come back to the Zoo.We went to this cool bugs exhibit.We watched an animal show at the ampitheater, the animal performers included George & Mildred, they were Macaws(a type of Parrot).We had lunch at the picnic lawn at lunchtime and left around half past one in the afternoon.

My week in England

This week when I was in England. I went to the wellington museum with my friend nathan. We had to do a scavenger hunt all around the museum. The next day we went to harrods. We were all given £20, my sisters all bought nail polish. I didn't buy anything so when we got home I got an early christmas present.

Cine Club BFI

Cine Club is a young film makers network and luckily All Saints can give their pupils a chance to be a part of this along with many other schools.

On Monday 5th July All Saints Cine Club will be taking a trip to Londons BFI ( British Film Insatute ) To Enter there most recent film School Alone in the Cast & crew screening Competition. They will be up against a few other schools in the city who will be also be screening there films.
We will be representing All Saints to show the imaginative film All Saints Cine Club have to impress any audience of any age.

All Saints at the BFI!

All Saints at the BFI!
Members of Cine Club [Film makers of All Saints School] will go to the BFI on the 5Th of July at three o' clock to see the cast and crew screening! We are representing the school to show our fantastic film to impress the audience. [Come on All Saints!!!]

Year 5 have been learning about space this term and we got to make our own planets.We named our planets here are some of the names Theadorable, Theador, Repose, Xanti and Twix.We used different materials like fabric, felt and silk. We also used buttons, pipe cleaners which represents people and hammer beads which represents gases,decoration and water/fire. We have been working very hard on these planets. We made our planets look modern. We also got to show our planets in KS2 assembly and we all enjoyed it.

Year 5's bread making

On Monday the 21st of June year 5 made bread for a chosen teacher.

Some bread was platted,some had olives in it and herbs.We followed a recipe and are bread was delicious.Every teacher said 'Thank you' personally to the bread makers.

1.We did a questionnaire to every teacher to ask them if they have any allergies and what they want in it.

2.Then we were put in groups and made a trial bread.

3.We ate it ,it was very nice!

4.We started to make our bread for our teachers.

5. After we finished making our bread ,(while they were cooking) we made our packaging.

6. We delivered our bread to the teachers we had chosen.

7.A couple of days later most of the teachers came into our classroom and said 'that bread was so nice!'

BREAD MAKING WAS SO FUN!

It really improved our teamwork and bread making skills.
